Welcome Reception: Drinks and Buffet - Glasgow Science Centre
A welcome reception and buffet will be held in the Glasgow Science Centre, from 19.30hrs - 21.30hrs (included in delegate's registration fee). The Glasgow Science Centre
is one of Scotland's must-see visitor attractions - presenting concepts of science and technology in unique and inspiring ways. This is kindly being subsidised by
Glasgow City Council.

Conference Dinner and Ceilidh – Glasgow Science Centre
Dinner and traditional Scottish dancing will be held from 20.00hrs onwards. After enjoying a 3 course meal with wine you can participate in the Ceilidh. A caller will be on hand to guide you through the traditional Scottish dances.
Tours / Excursions
Day tours can be arranged to locations both within and outside Glasgow. The Highlands, Loch Lomond, whisky distilleries and St Andrews, the home of golf, are within easy reach of Glasgow, as are Stirling Castle and the city of Edinburgh. The SECC have their own central booking system on-site and on-line (www.secctickets.com for cultural and sporting events throughout Scotland) for delegates & accompanying persons. The Tourist Board will also have a booth on-site.
Alternative Arrangements
If you do not wish to attend the dinner and ceilidh on Friday October 5th, the onsite hotels (Crowne Plaza, City Inn and Campanile) all have excellent and spacious bar facilities if you wish to gather with other delegates in the evening.
