The registration fee includes:
• attendance at all plenary speeches, symposia, workshops and lectures
• entrance to the exhibition area and poster sessions
• delegate bag and conference material
• welcome reception at the Glasgow Science Centre
• tea and coffee breaks
Please note: If you apply to become a member of EFTA-CIM and are accepted at the meeting of the Membership Applications Committee on 8-9 June 2007, and you register for the EFTA conference in Glasgow, you will be entitled to:
• a reduced conference registration fee as an EFTA member, and
• a reduced first year membership subscription of 40€
(annual subscription for 2007 normally 70€)
TIC will offer 50% discount on the application fee for TIC membership to Training Institutes attending the Conference with the prerequisite that they provide the Board with the necessary documentation.
Lunches are not included. Neither is the Conference Dinner; tickets for this can be purchased at the time of registration. Please note that places for the conference dinner are limited.
Guests of registered delegates are welcome to purchase tickets to attend the Opening Reception, the Conference Dinner, lunches and participate in other tours and social events. Tickets should be booked and purchased in advance at the time of registering as places are limited.
How to Pay
Payment can be made in Pounds Sterling or Euros. There are three methods of payment:
By Cheque

By Credit Card/Switch
Only Visa, MasterCard or Switch can be accepted. Our online payment facility is provided by WorldPay, a reliable and well-respected online, real-time payment service provider. WorldPay’s credit-card handling system incorporates sophisticated anti-fraud measures, to protect your credit card details. WorldPay uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect transmissions of financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).

Delegate Cancellation
Notification of cancellation must be received in writing either by post, fax or email to the conference organisers (In Conference Ltd). Substitutions can be made at any time.
• Before July 30th, 2007, the registration fee will be refunded less £30 administration fee.
• After August 10th, 2007 no refunds on registration fees will be made.
• No shows will not be refunded and the hotel will charge for the total number of nights originally booked.
Once cancellations have been received by us in writing, delegates will receive notification by email together with a cancellation number. Delegates who fail to pay within the designated time will also have their registration cancelled and will also receive an email with a cancellation number.
::Accommodation
Accommodation has been reserved at special rates within a variety of hotels ranging from 4 star to smaller hotels to suit all budgets. Walking distances / taxi times to the conference centre are indicated in the table below. To qualify for these rates, reservations should be made through the conference organisers (In Conference Ltd). Delegates are also obviously welcome to book their hotels direct as good deals can sometimes be found on the internet. Please visit www.visitscotland.com/accommodation for more information.
Hotel accommodation can only be reserved if you provide credit card details. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to book accommodation after Wednesday July 11th. Please note: You will be expected to settle your accommodation charges directly with the hotel on your departure. If you do not arrive at your hotel on the due date, the hotel will cancel your reservation for subsequent nights and charge your credit card for all nights booked.
Alternative accommodation
There is a list of low cost accommodation, bed and breakfast establishments, student accommodation etc which can be accessed via the AFT website.
Please note that In Conference cannot book this accommodation on your behalf.
